Ryman announces Deliveroo delivery deal

Ryman has become the first nationwide stationer in the UK to join the Deliveroo on-demand delivery platform.

The partnership will see approximately 185 Ryman stores added to Deliveroo’s shopping marketplace, giving customers access to more than 4,000 stationery, office products, technology and gifting items for rapid delivery. According to the companies, deliveries can arrive in as little as 25 minutes.

The agreement comes as Deliveroo, which was acquired by US company DoorDash in October 2025, continues to expand its non-food retail operations through its Deliveroo Shopping business. The company said orders for stationery and office supplies on its platform increased by nearly 40% in 2025 compared with the previous year, while demand during the UK exam season rose by more than 30%.

Ryman will also utilize Deliveroo Express, the platform’s white-label delivery solution that enables retailers to offer on-demand fulfilment directly through their own websites and apps.

Ryman chairman Theo Paphitis said the partnership represented a further step in strengthening the reseller’s omnichannel and digital proposition, stating it would “help to keep homes and offices running smoothly.”

Deliveroo VP of New Verticals Suzy McClintock said the agreement reflected changing consumer behavior and growing demand for rapid retail delivery services beyond groceries and restaurant meals.

The OPI Top 100 reseller joins a growing list of retailers using Deliveroo Shopping, which launched in late 2023. Other partners on the platform include toy retailer The Entertainer, fragrance chain The Perfume Shop and accessories retailer Accessorize.
