US industrial equipment and supplies reseller Global Industrial has reported improved sales and earnings for the third quarter of 2025.

The company generated Q3 revenue of $353.6 million, a 3.3% increase on last year’s figure. Volumes were down “slightly”, but this factor was more than offset by a mid-single-digit uptick in prices.

The volume declines were related to smaller, transactional customers, while Global saw order growth at strategic accounts—where the company has been focusing its efforts. Canada was another a bright spot after local currency sales grew by more than 12% year on year.

In terms of profitability, gross margin improved by 160 basis points to 35.6% and operating margin was also up—from 6.5% to 7.4%—partly due to a price increase implemented in August.

CEO Anesa Chaibi noted there had been some pullback in US federal government spending in Q3 due to the timing of contract awards and budget uncertainties. However, she said there has been some bounce-back in October, while state and local government customers continue to be positive.
